This is an interesting question coming from me, so you pretty much know my answer to this one.

But do you know why?

Our skin is our largest organ - it's incredible at protecting our body from external environmental factors and it helps to regulate our temperature.

Over the years though, our expectations of our skin have increased dramatically with today's modern world.

Our skin can be exposed to air conditioning for many hours of the day. Even though aircon helps us live more comfortably and can even save lives in extreme conditions, it can still be really dehydrating and drying on our skin.

Our modern diets have also become increasingly filled with processed foods and refined sugars. This can affect our hormones (hello congestion and acne), and also interfere with the skin's functions, leading to inflammation and dry skin.

If you're in Australia like me, we know we have a depleting ozone layer. Our exposure to extra rays of sun can lead to dry and dehydrated skin, aging/sun spots, pigmentation and of course increase our chances of skin cancer. Covering up and using sunscreen is essential. However, replacing lost moisture and smoothing out any signs of pigmentation and ageing is also important. Who doesn't want to keep their skin looking at its best?

Find me someone who actually gets a good quality sleep every single night?! This lack of zzzz's can cause a decrease in blood flow to our skin cells. Therefore, collagen and other important minerals and nutrients won't be carried to our skin as efficiently as they could be.

Given that 26 seconds is all it takes for our skin to absorb ingredients from our skincare - we should definitely embrace an all natural and toxin-free skincare routine when we rejuvenate and replenish!

If you want to show your skin some extra (yet essential) loving, but you don't know where to start, I have put together my best seller bundle for you.

A gentle cleanser to clean without stripping your skin, an exfoliant to help remove any dry/dead skin on the surface and stimulate your circulation while you're at it, and a stunning anti-aging treatment oil to help combat anti-oxidants and to regenerate your skin and help reclaim your skin confidence and glow!

And, if you could do with a little (or a lot of) skincare advice, let me know as I am always happy to help!
